Trinity Business School invites applications for two funded PhD scholarships in the area of Operations/Supply Chain Management supervised by Professor Sinéad Roden
(sinead.roden@tcd.ie) and Professor Yufei Huang (yufei.huang@tcd.ie)

The positions involve working on research projects in the area of operations management and supply chain management with the aim to publish in top academic journals. The PhD
candidates will be required to take part in the structured PhD programme at Trinity Business School and engage in teaching duties up to a maximum of 6 hours per week as part of the PhD training. 


Trinity Business School provides comprehensive support for PhD students to conduct research, including close supervision, a dynamic research seminar series, internal and external PhD courses and training. More details on this programme can be found at

Scholarship Course Level
University of Dublin Funded PhD Scholarships  for International Students are available for  PhD Program.

Scholarship Field of Study
Scholarships  are provided to students for study in lOperations/Supply Chain Management.

Scholarship Award/Value
scholarship value  are full tuition fee per year, and a stipend of €17,000 per annum for up to 3 years.

Nationality Scholarship Targeted
Scholarship are offered/open to  to all international students(any country).

Scholarship Location
University of Dublin Funded PhD Scholarships  for International Students is provided for study in Ireland.

Scholarship Eligibility
Eligibility for University of Dublin Funded PhD Scholarships are;  
  • Excellent English language skills, a minimum IELTS 6.5 or equivalent is essential  should be posses by applicant .
  • A minimum of a Master’s qualification with merit or equivalent in the relevant subjects and a 2.1 undergraduate degree or equivalent  are essential.
  • Applicants Experience in the area of operations and supply chain management would be advantageous, but not essential. We are particularly seeking applicants with interests
  • and experience in behavioral operations management, supply chain risk management
  • or empirical operations management.
  • Applicants with an interest in experimental methodologies are encouraged.
  • Applicants should be motivated to become a professional management scholar.
